Let AI handle the busywork. Keep what only you can do.

Resizing, rough drafts, and cleanup don't need you. The ideas, the taste, and the final call still do.

Field note Nº 014/As it ran on LinkedIn

I get asked if AI is coming for the creative job. The honest answer: it's coming for parts of it, and good riddance to those parts. Resizing, rough drafts, cleanup, the tenth export. None of that needed me.

What it doesn't touch is the part that was always the point. The idea. The taste to know when something is right. The final call you put your name on. Those still need a person, and handing the busywork to a tool gives that person more time for them.

Aim your hours where only you can work.

Let the machine do the rest. That's not a threat to the craft. It's the best deal the craft has been offered in years.
